Russell Silva is a screenwriter, director, & D.P. based in Steilacoom, WA, with 20+ experience years in the industry. He’s drawn to high-concept stories grounded in emotional truth—unexpected relationships, moral friction, and the common humanity hiding in plain sight. He has written five feature screenplays and has placed in six screenwriting competitions.
His favorite lanes to write and watch include psychological thrillers, adventure/fantasy, and dark dramedy, often blending kinetic storytelling with intimate character stakes. Creative touchstones include – Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, No Country for Old Men, Interstellar, The Truman Show, American Beauty, & Life of Pi.
